A light wall in the dining area is an illuminated fabric panel made to measure. It does not hang on the wall as a picture; it is the wall: evenly backlit, matt and without glare, even above bench seating and tables. The image is swapped in a few minutes without tools when the decor changes. The built-in LEDs are designed for around 18,000 operating hours, and the panel is resistant to grease and steam near the kitchen.

A dining area lives on light. A light wall is the wall and the lighting at once, without a single visible light fitting.
Light above tables and bench seating
The panel does not hang on the wall as a picture; it is the wall: evenly backlit, matt and without glare, even directly above bench seating and tables. Anyone sitting beneath it is not looking into a light source, and there is no hard shadow on the plates.
The LEDs last around 18,000 operating hours, so ten hours of use a day is not an issue. With backlighting, dimming is continuous: the lunch service gets different light from the evening service, on the same panel.
Near the kitchen: grease and steam
The fabric and profile are designed for use near the kitchen and can be wiped clean. A panel above the serving hatch or next to the open kitchen is therefore not a special case.
There are no fixed formats. You tell us how much space is available in the dining area, at the bar or in the entrance area, and the panel is built for it.
The fabric itself is certified to B1 and is therefore flame-retardant. You choose the image from millions of licensed images or bring your own: a photo of your premises, your own menu, a picture from the region.
Changing the image when the menu changes
The image is swapped in a few minutes without tools, as often as you like. On request our mounting team does this. The frame stays up, and only the fabric is made again.
Both are possible for the connection, a plug socket or a fixed connection in the wall. You decide what you need in the configurator before production starts.

View all questionsYou enter the dimensions freely in the configurator, and every surface is then made to them. There is no minimum size and no minimum order quantity. If you are unsure which size works in the room, we will settle that with you before the quote.
After the order and approval of the print files, production takes about two to four weeks. The exact time depends on the size and scope of the order.
On request, yes. Within a radius of around 300 kilometres of Münster we regularly do the mounting ourselves; across Germany and in the Netherlands, on request. If you prefer, you can also mount it yourself: this needs no tradesperson and no special tools.
No. The surface is matt and lights evenly rather than from points, so there is no glare.
