Calming images
Calm nature images create a pleasant atmosphere in the waiting area.
Illuminated pictures and light walls for medical practices provide calm, even lighting in the waiting area and treatment room, with images that create a pleasant atmosphere.
You sit in a waiting room for longer than you would like. A light wall gives the room a calm light and something for the eye to rest on.
The panel glows evenly across its whole size, not from individual points. The surface is completely matt and does not cause glare, even when seen from below. That takes away from a waiting area exactly what makes it unpleasant: hard shadows and a view straight into a lamp.
You can hear practically nothing of the technology. The driver runs so quietly that it disappears into the background noise of a waiting room. The built-in LEDs are designed for around 18,000 operating hours, so a full practice day over many years is not an issue.
Our fabric prints are certified to B1, which means they are flame-retardant. They are therefore approved for practice and treatment rooms. Clean with a standard fabric cleaner and without scrubbing; wiping over the surface is enough.
If a fabric is put under greater strain over the years, a new one goes onto the same frame. The frame stays up, and only the fabric is replaced.
With backlighting, dimming is continuous. The waiting area can therefore have different light from the treatment room, and different light in the late afternoon than in the morning. An edge-lit panel, by contrast, always glows at the same brightness.
One person can change a panel of about 1.50 by 1.00 metres alone in a few minutes. No tradesperson and no special tools are needed: the fabric is taken out of the frame and the new one is pulled in. The practice does not have to stop for this.
It is made to measure, for reception, waiting area and treatment room. You choose the image from millions of licensed images or bring your own.
