Fabric and replacement print for fabric frames

This is how you see your image

Example

200 × 100 cm

The image above is an example and does not belong to your order. As soon as you have uploaded your print file, yours appears here: in the format of your fabric, with the crop that you can move, and optionally on a room wall.

Or your own print file

Drag the file into the field or click it to upload your own print file. We look at it before printing and get in touch if something is not right.

If you upload your own image, you do not transfer any rights in it. We use it only for this print.

The fabric on its own, made to the centimetre and printed with your image. The silicone edge is sewn in, and the fabric is fitted into the groove of the profile. If the frame is already hanging, order the replacement print here and change only the image: in fabric frames and silicone edge frames, in LED fabric frames and in the lit formats that we call light wall and illuminated picture. For the lit ones, the print runs on backlit fabric.

What the fabric is suitable for

The silicone edge runs into the groove of the profile. So the same fabric fits any frame that has a groove for the edge: a fabric frame without light, a silicone edge frame, an LED fabric frame and the lit formats that we call light wall and illuminated picture.

We make the prints for this made to measure, one at a time and in series. Whether you re-cover an existing frame, that is, you need a replacement fabric, or a second image for the same wall, makes no difference to production.

A person looks at the file before printing

We check every print file by hand: resolution, crop, colour space and bleed. No machine approves anything here. We come from design and can tell from a file whether it will hold up at the final size.

If the resolution is not enough for your dimensions, that is not the end for us. We rework the image and scale it up, even to very large formats, using AI-assisted tools among other things. What is possible with that and what is not, we tell you beforehand and not afterwards.

What happens next

We look at the file

Resolution, crop, colour space. By hand, not by a machine. If something is not right, we get in touch before anything is printed.

Printed and finished

On your dimensions, with a sewn-in silicone edge on all four sides.

You fit it

The silicone edge runs into the groove of the profile. Old fabric out, new fabric in.

Do you need the whole wall and not just the fabric? Then the route is through the configurator: there, frame, mounting and connection are added, and you get a quote.

The outer frame dimensions. Give us the outer edge of your frame and we work out the rest: the silicone edge and the tension are added by us, so that the fabric sits taut. If you are unsure, measure the frame at its widest and its tallest point and put both in your enquiry.

Yes. We make the fabric to the dimensions of your existing frame, whoever made it. All we need is the outer frame dimensions and whether the frame is lit.

A silicone edge of standard size, sewn in all the way round on all four sides. It is standardised and fits the usual grooves, so it also fits profiles from other manufacturers.

Without tools. Pull the silicone edge out of the groove at one corner, take the fabric off all the way round, put the new fabric in place and press the silicone edge back in. The frame stays on the wall, and the lighting stays where it is. For small sizes one person can do this alone; from about two metres it is easier with two people, because the fabric then has to be held along the whole edge.

JPG, PNG, WEBP, TIFF and PDF, up to 50 MB per file. We do not convert a PDF into dots but measure its page size: for a vector file, that says more about whether it can be printed than a dot count does.

That is not the end of it for us. We rework the image and scale it up, even to very large sizes, using AI-assisted tools among other things. We tell you beforehand what that can and cannot do, not afterwards. As soon as you upload, the page shows you whether the resolution is enough for your size.

Yes, always, in prepress: resolution, crop, colour space and bleed. No machine approves anything here. If something does not fit, we get in touch before printing.

Yes. You set the quantity next to the dimensions, and for a second image you simply upload a second file. This does not change production: the frame stays the same.

Up to five metres wide and up to fifty metres long in one piece. Printing is done on two widths, three and five metres. We join larger surfaces from strips and agree with you beforehand how the surface is divided.

One centimetre all round. Do not put anything important at the edge: text and logos should sit away from the edge, because the fabric runs over the silicone edge into the groove and the outermost edge disappears in the profile.

Yes, you get a proof before printing. Printing only starts after your approval.

Not in the washing machine. Wiping it with a damp cloth is fine.

Depending on size, on a roll or folded. Fold lines from shipping are not a defect: once fitted and stretched, they flatten out on their own after a few days.

Usually five working days from approval of the print files. If it needs to be faster, express is available; tell us the date and we will tell you beforehand whether it can be met.

That is exactly what this page is for: the printed fabric on its own, to your dimensions. If you need the frame as well, with mounting and connection, go through the configurator.
