Visiting the website
This website is operated by Lovable Labs Incorporated; its representative in the European Union is Lovable Labs AB, Regeringsgatan 25, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden. Lovable uses the Cloudflare network for this. For a page to reach you at all, the technical details of every request are processed, including your IP address, date and time, the address requested and the details of your browser. Without this processing, operating a website is not technically possible; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and accessible service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Fonts
The typeface of this website is stored on our own server and loaded from there. No request is sent to Google or any other third party in the process, and your IP address does not leave our service.
Enquiry and contact form
If you send an enquiry, you transmit to us the details you entered in the form: name, address, telephone number, email address, your message, the configuration you put together and, where applicable, files you uploaded. We use them to answer your enquiry and to prepare a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The message is sent through the email service Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., which delivers the message on our behalf. When you submit the enquiry, your IP address is briefly checked in the working memory of the server so that an arbitrary number of enquiries do not arrive from the same source in quick succession. It is not stored permanently and disappears at the latest when the server instance ends.
So that we can calculate a quote, some of this information goes to the manufacturer. Which part that is, is stated in the next section.
Disclosure to the manufacturer
We do not manufacture ourselves. So that we can give you a quote, we pass your enquiry on to the manufacturer that builds the light wall. What is transmitted is your name, your company where applicable, the delivery address, the technical details from the configuration (dimensions, construction, image) and the case number, so that queries can be matched up. We do not pass on your telephone number or your email address; queries from the manufacturer go through us. The legal basis is the performance of the pre-contractual relationship at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Our manufacturer of light walls is based in Turkey. There is no adequacy decision of the European Commission for Turkey. The transfer is therefore based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). You can obtain a copy of the clauses on request at info@lichtwand.de.
Customer account
An account is voluntary. It is used to save configurations and saved images (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). There is no password: you give your email address and receive a one-time login link.
What is stored is your email address, the configurations you have saved and your saved images. Of the login link and of the session only a hash value is stored, never the key itself: anyone who reads the database cannot log in with it. The login link expires after 20 minutes, the session after 60 days. The database is held by Supabase, Inc.
You can delete your saved configurations and images in the account at any time. To delete the whole account, an informal message to info@lichtwand.de is enough.
Image search
The image search accesses the library of Adobe Stock. The contracting party is Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Ireland. Your search term goes to Adobe via our server; your IP address is not passed on in the process. Your browser then loads the preview images directly from the servers of Adobe, and Adobe learns your IP address. This only happens once you start a search. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in enabling you to choose an image without an Adobe account of your own (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Reviews
If you submit a review, we store the text, the number of stars and, if you give it, your name. The name is voluntary; without it, only the date appears on the card. We do not ask for an email address. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting the review.
None of this is visible straight away. Every review is only published after we have approved it; until then, and if it is rejected, it remains unpublished. Published reviews appear on the website with text, stars, date and, if given, name, and can therefore be seen publicly.
When you submit, we also store a hash value of your IP address, not the address itself. It serves only to recognise a series from the same source and is deleted as soon as we have approved or rejected the review. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in preventing abusive entries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Map on the contact page
On the contact page you can load a map from Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It is not loaded automatically: until you click “Load map”, there is only a notice there, and no request goes to Google. The map is only loaded once you click; your IP address is then transmitted to Google and cookies may be set. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give with the click. The notice that appears at the bottom of the screen on your first visit asks the same question.
Your decision is stored in the storage of your browser, so that we do not ask again each time you visit. You can change it at any time:
Cookies and storage in the browser
We do not use cookies for analysis or advertising. Only one cookie is set, for logging in, and only when you log in. In addition, the website stores some details in the storage of your browser so that your work is not lost. These details do not leave your computer.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| lichtwand_sitzung | Cookie | Keeps you logged in after you log in. Only set if you use an account. | 60 days |
| lichtwand-warenkorb | Local Storage | Remembers what you have put in the basket. Only the version and the quantity, no prices and no names. | Until you empty the basket or delete the browser storage |
| lichtwand-einwilligung | Local Storage | Records how you decided here, so that we do not ask again on every visit. | Until you change the decision or clear the browser storage |
| lichtwand-theme | Local Storage | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. | Until you clear the browser storage |
| lichtwand-konfigurator-v1 | Local Storage | Keeps the configuration you have started, so that it is not lost when the page is reloaded. | Until you clear the browser storage |
| lichtwand-konfigurator-schritt | Local Storage | Remembers which step of the configurator you stopped at. | Until you clear the browser storage |
| lichtwand-konfigurator-split | Local Storage | Remembers how wide you dragged the preview next to the configurator. | Until you clear the browser storage |
| lichtwand-konfiguration-uebergabe | Session Storage | Passes a configuration on from one page to the next. | Until the browser window is closed |
| lichtwand-motiv-uebergabe | Session Storage | Passes a chosen image on from the image page to the configurator. | Until the browser window is closed |
All of these entries are needed for the functions that you call up yourself. We do not need consent for them (§ 25 para. 2 TTDSG). You can delete them at any time in the settings of your browser; a configuration then starts again from the beginning.
Recipients
Outside our company, data is seen only by the services that are needed for operation: Lovable Labs Incorporated for operating the website, which uses Cloudflare for this; Supabase, Inc. for the database of the customer account; Plus Five Five, Inc. under the name Resend for sending the enquiry emails; Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited for the image search and, with your consent, Google Ireland Limited for the map. All act on our behalf and are bound by contract. For the providers based in the United States, processing outside the European Union may take place; it is based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
There is also a recipient that does not act on our behalf but provides its own services: the manufacturer that builds your light wall. What it receives and what the transfer is based on is stated above under “Disclosure to the manufacturer”. Data is not passed on for any purposes other than those stated there.
Retention period
We keep enquiries for as long as is necessary for processing them and for the business relationship that follows, and beyond that for as long as periods under commercial and tax law require. Account data is kept until you have the account deleted. Expired login links and sessions lose their validity when the periods stated above end.
Published reviews remain until you ask us to remove yours. Reviews that have not been approved and rejected reviews are deleted by us once they have been dealt with; the hash value of the IP address disappears as early as the decision on approval.
Your rights
You have the right of access to the data stored about you, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing and to data portability. You can object to processing that is based on a legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
For all of these requests, a message to info@lichtwand.de is enough. Independently of that, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Postfach 20 04 44, 40102 Düsseldorf.
Changes
If anything changes in the functions of this website, this policy changes with it. The version published here, with the date stated above, is the one that applies.
We are happy to answer questions on this through the contact page.
